Rick has spent a lifetime as a working man. From his earliest experiences painting houses with his father to commercial fishing and every level of construction, Rick has served as laborer, expeditor, foreman, supervisor, project director and now, superintendent of construction. He is familiar with the challenges of construction in Alaska having worked in remote locations including Kodiak, the Aleutian Islands, the North Slope and the Alaskan interior. He is Alaska State certified as an industrial firefighter, serving the Valdez marine terminal for over seven years. Rick brings all that experience and intuition to SD Construction.
Born and raised in Alaska, Rick enjoys most outdoor activities including fishing, hunting, kayaking, and camping with his wife and three girls. Married to Becky for 37 years, Rick knows how to stay on a project, “for better or worse,” until it’s done. He loves to serve friends, family, church and community. He joins all of us at SD Construction, looking forward to serving you.
