Brian Riess
Project Manager
Bringing over 25 years of hands-on experience in general contracting and a deep-rooted passion for team-driven project success. From foundations and remodels to large-scale commercial builds, Brian’s journey in construction began at age 15, working alongside his uncle, a stone mason and general contractor. That early exposure sparked a lifelong commitment to the craft—one that’s taken him from laborer to superintendent to project leader.
A U.S. Army veteran and former Military Police Officer, Brian leads with discipline, integrity, and a strong sense of accountability. At SD Construction, he thrives on collaboration—working closely with teammates, subcontractors, and leadership across departments to ensure projects run smoothly and relationships stay strong. His leadership style blends field-tested experience with a drive for professional development, always looking for ways to build better structures and stronger teams.
Outside of work, Brian is all about family. He and his wife are raising four kids and can often be found camping, attending sports events, or hitting the trails on their four-wheelers and side-by-sides. For Brian, community and connection matter—on the jobsite and at home—and SD’s people-first culture is what makes it all worthwhile.
