Phil Perry

Superintendent Electrician

Sound Decisions

I have been an electrician by trade for over 30 years, working in all capacities from apprentice to project manager. I was fortunate to get into the trades through my dad and grandpa growing up on a homestead, there was always something to build or repair. I naturally gravitated toward the trades and fell into electrical work right out of high school.

Over the years, I have also spent a large part of my career on the general contracting side, with significant involvement in military and government projects. Some notable work includes the Battalion Headquarters on Ft. Wainwright, the F-35 flight simulator on Eielson AFB, the Field Training Detachment at Eielson AFB, and the R21 Rescue 21 high sites for the Coast Guard across multiple mountain tops and locations throughout Alaska.

I love to help people and take pride in thinking outside the box to find more efficient ways to approach daily tasks. I’m a firm believer that we can’t succeed alone, and I enjoy both learning from and teaching those I work with. I take on challenges with the goal of turning them into success.

Outside of work, I love to hunt and fish all over Alaska, both freshwater and saltwater, and enjoy providing for my family and storing away the harvest. I also value spending time with my family at our property on Big Lake, whether that’s boating, visiting friends around the lake, or relaxing around the fire pits. There’s always a project that needs to be done at the cabin, which I truly enjoy.

SD is full of dedicated, experienced, and respectful team members, and it’s a pleasure to be part of a growing company with a community-minded atmosphere. I look forward to making a positive contribution to the success of the team and take pride in being someone, and part of a company, that clients want to work with again and again.
